The Only Serviceable LED Niche on the Market
One of the greatest challenges in integrated lighting is the fear of inaccessible, built-in components. What happens when a light eventually needs servicing? Traditionally, the only answer was costly, destructive tile removal. We knew that approach made no sense for homeowners or installers—so we engineered a better solution.
At the heart of every Illuminiche product is our patented, tool-free magnetic coupling system. Both the niche body and the LED light channel contain embedded magnetic layers that lock together securely yet allow the channel to be effortlessly removed and reinstalled without disturbing the surrounding tile.
During installation, tile is set with a precise 1/16-inch gap—free of thinset and grout—around the channel. This intentional detail ensures that the light channel can be released at any time, enabling fast, clean serviceability.
Our COB LED technology offers an expected lifespan of 100,000 hours, but life is unpredictable—power surges, storms, or unforeseen electrical events can happen. With Illuminiche, your lighting remains fully accessible and never requires a tile tear-out.

Each niche is constructed from ½-inch high-density foam, fully coated in our durable waterproofing layer and finished in our signature blue waterproof coating. This creates a rigid, lightweight structure that is 100% waterproof with an IP67 rating, completely safe for wet-area installation, and naturally resistant to mold and mildew.
Because our niches follow the same waterproofing principles recommended by major backer-board manufacturers, installers can integrate them effortlessly into any workflow—whether using banding, liquid membrane, or sealant. Installation is simple, familiar, and reliable.

Our LED Niches utilize advanced COB (Chip-on-Board) technology on 3-oz copper, delivering superior thermal stability, longer lifespan, and an exceptionally even glow. To give you complete control over the ambiance, our lighting is available in three designer color temperatures:

A premium lighting feature shouldn’t require a complicated installation. Illuminiche LED Niches were engineered so tile professionals can install them using the same methods they already trust.
Each niche installs just like a standard foam niche:

Set the unit ½ inch proud of the wall after board installation

Apply a ¼-inch bead of foam board sealant around the perimeter

Push the niche in the remaining ½ inch to fully embed the sealant

Waterproof using your backer-board manufacturer’s recommended method—banding, liquid membrane, or sealant

Our LED Niches are designed to pair seamlessly with the INSWITCHII 24V 60W dimmer/driver, a compact, all-in-one solution that installs in a standard wall switch box. Instead of relying on remote drivers or complicated wiring layouts, the INSWITCHII combines power regulation, on/off control, and smooth dimming into a single, elegant device.
Each kit includes UL-listed 22/2 low-voltage wire with an IP67-rated quick-connect harness, ensuring a clean, safe, and reliable connection between the niche and the driver. Wiring is color-coded for simplicity:
Red = Positive
Blue = Negative
